Where are you from?

We are from the Philippines

And you are in Japan for a holiday?

For our holiday and our anniversary

What sort of anniversary is it?

It’s our three years anniversary of being together as a couple

Congratulations guys! Happy days

So how long are you gonna stay in Japan?

We are gonna stay here for six days

How are you feeling about Japan so far?

So far we are overwhelmed

Everything here is organized and

People are very helpful in terms of Every time we ask questions

So I’m gonna ask you about that

Because in this video I’m asking foreign people

How they are feeling about Japan honestly after they came to Japan

Did you like Japan before you came here? Where you interested in Japan?

Yeah actually we did like Japan

Actually I think most of us from the Philippines do go here in Japan for a vacation or for holidays

One reason is it’s much colder here

In the Philippines it’s always hot It’s humid so

It’s a really change of scenery, change of weather

But apart from that, the food

What sort of images did you have before you came to Japan? Like

Japan could be like this… Japan is like this…

What was the strong image of Japan?

First of all, Y think it’s common actually like the salary man

the salary man’s image is like People who really work

It’s really common but actually when you go here

You see that every person here is passionate about their job

Even at restaurants they will help you and all

You see the passion in them I mean in their everyday job

Hard-worker aye

That’s what makes Japan beautiful

Like everyone’s so passionate Everyone’s doing their own thing but they’s doing a hundred percent every time they do something

It’s been only a day or two days for you guys

And what’s been the best highlight so far?

We actually went here already like there years ago in Osaka

It’s our first time together in Tokyo

You can talk about that too

When we got here the first food we ate was ramen Ichiran ramen

The first sip it was just amazing like

Because it’s just like we couldn’t believe We are finally here after so long

I know that Ichiran ramen is so popular in foreign countries even in Australia

Especially Asian people talk Japan has Ichiran ramen

The are doing a great marketing I think

So the last question is gonna be like this

I understood you love Japan

You’ve already been here for two times

You came here for the great important time actually A celebration, anniversary in Japan

But after you came here What do you think is a positive thing about Japan?

And what do you think is actually a negative thing about Japan?

Like you must have something like it’s difficult to deal with

Positive thing would definitely be the culture

It’s really evident here

The culture they were able to preserve it I believe so That’s amazing

But they can be a bit too serious

People are?

People tend to be a bit serious but

I feel so too

That’s not really so negative because

Everything is just beautiful here so it’s okay

I mean it shows how serious they are

I mean how passionate they are

Coz if I were to compare it to the Philippines

Everyone in the Philippines is warm like

Even if you don’t know the person She or he will say hi to you and stuff like that so That are a but you know

It’s part of their culture so

So you’d say Filipinos are more like talking easier

Things are more laid-back

Not talking things too serious

But it’s a double-edge sward aye

Because we are very serious That’s why our technologies and all the organizations are great

But at the same time people get stressed because we have to be very serious and

It’s our standard

But I hope you’ll enjoy the whole time in Japan

This is your second time right?

Have a great anniversary time guys

Thank you very much for your help

2組目 トルコ出身の男女に聞いてみた!

Where are you from?

We are from Turkey

You two are a couple

Yes, we are married

A beautiful Turkish couple yeah

And you are in Tokyo now What brought you here?

We just came here for a vacation

For how long?

It’s about four days

Four days?

Is it gonna be enough?

My friend has been here in Tokyo

He said it’s not enough for Tokyo for four days but

We are gonna make it fast a little bit

You are more Japanese than Japanese

LIke Japanese people are so busy We can’t take holiday from work so

When we go overseas Not everyone but some people take

Four days, three days and go to Europe and come back

Are you guys busy too?

I have a work Working as a pilot

Working as a pilot? You must be busy then

So in this video I’m interviewing foreign people How they feel about Japan

Honestly after you came here

Is this first time for you guys to be here?

I’ve been in Osaka before because I’m a pilot but

In Tokyo first time

Before you came to Japan When you were planning to come to Japan

You have some images right

Japan is like this Maybe Japan could be like this

What sort of image did you have?

Everything is so automatic actually

Robotic, technological

We know that technology here is high

Also she has a Japanese friend

We met in Malta

So she already knows Japanese people Coz she had a friend before

This is something that I’ve heard since I was a kid

Is it true that Turkish people are like How do you call like? Welcoming to Japanese people?

Like we are connected

It’s both ways We have a deep relation between Japan and Turkey

And in Turkish Airlines we also have a plain called Kushimoto

Because some historical ones happened In Kushimoto Japan

Our ship sank or something like that

I don’t know exactly I’m really sorry about that

And Japanese people saved people from the Turkish ship

And that because a very good friendship between Turkey and Japan

And we have a plain named Kushimoto

Okay, I didn’t know that

So the main question and the last question is gonna be like this

Since you came here Maybe only for a couple of days now but

What did you find like a positive thing about Japan?

Positive things about Japan that you know Because you are here

And also something that can be negative to you guys

I don’t think there is anything

I’m thinking but Japanese people are very respectful

Everywhere is quiet

Nobody is just honking each other in the street

Everybody is nice Everybody is respectful

Do you find the quietness is comfortable?

Yes, because where we came is a very noisy place Istanbul is very noisy

So it’s for us really nice

But I don’t know if you live here too much Maybe it’s too quiet

Maybe we get bored, I don’t know, but

My first impression is very quiet and very nice

Life is relaxed here

I’m hoping that you are gonna find nothing negative about Japan in this four days

Thank you very much and enjoy your time

3組目 ブラジル出身の女性に聞いてみた!

Where are you from?

From Brazil

Which part of Brazil?

I’m from Sao Paulo

I know there is a Japanese suburb called Liberdade

Yes, Liberdade

Have you been there?

Yeah of course

Really famous

You are from somewhere very far away and

Japan what are you doing here? What do you do?

Well I love Japan and it’s my second time here

You are a tourist?

Yes,I’m a tourist

And the second time from Brazil?

You must love Japan

I really do

In this video I’m asking some questions to foreign people about Japan

How do you feel about Japan after you literally came here? Honest opinion that’s what I want

You must have had some images

Before you came to Japan for the first time

Japan must be like this Japan maybe is gonna be like this

What sort of images did you have?

I thought about a lot of sushi places probably

That’s not wrong though That’s true

I think that Brazilian people don’t really eat raw fish

We do

We have a lot of Japanese restaurants in Brazil

So you like sushi?

I love it

Which sushi is better? Brazilian sushi or Japanese sushi?

Japanese of course

And then now you are here in Japanese for the second time

Has your image been changed after you came to Japan?

I thought Japan could be like this but Actually it is like this

What most surprised me was how silent you are

You mean the people?

Yeah everywhere the silence is amazing

The colors are very bright The food is even more great and amazing than I thought it would be

It’s quite a beautiful place

What city is your favorite?

Tokyo

You like more like the modern side or More than traditional side?

Well I think Tokyo has both And that’s why I love it so much

And also the restaurants are great The parks are beautiful

People are very nice

It sounds like it’s got everything aye

For the first trip and for the second trip what is your hight of traveling Japan?

Honestly, the food every time

I love ramen, sushi and your stakes

I love it so much

I wanna say to all the foreign people that

You can go to nice sushi restaurants even in Australia and maybe in Brazil

If you pay lots of money you can have it

But I feel like the greatest ramen places exist only in Japan

That’s how I feel I don’t know how you feel but

So the last question is gonna be like this

Now I want your honest opinion

Since you came to Japan you must have found something that is really food about Japan

But at the same time This is something negative about Japan

It is hard for you to deal with

From your perspective what is a negative thing about Japan?

It is hard for me to choose something that is not really good

Because honestly I feel like Japan is my second favorite country in the world

After Brazil

I know Brazilian people love Brazil

But I would say that probably Uber and taxies are really expensive here

I feel like it’s much more expensive than other countries

But it’s okay because we use the metro a lot

So transportation is not a problem but

Every once in awhile I have to take an Uber It’s really expensive

So the transport can be a little bit expensive

Anything else?

Well it’s really far away from us

How far is it? How long does it take?

It’s two flights of fourteen hours

That’s brutal

But thank you for coming to Japan for two times

And I hope you’ll come back again

Yeah we will definitely

Thank you very much Muito obligato
